This is a very emotional piece...and, while using a traditional symbol for the 'heart', our emotional centers, in no way is made less completely edgy by association to the symbol's tradition. Here is a tumult of change, an aching cry the moment that evolvement is demanded of us. We could pretend that it's the security of our material environment--all elements familiar to us--at risk, but it goes far beyond that, a kind of knowledge from which many repeatedly dart away... Yet it's the core that breathes reality into our being, and what is at stake is its survival.
